Current on Demand
Output DC resistanceA very large core with very low magnetic flux density lets the ST-3000DC supply amplifier current surges of 50–100 A without voltage dips, something an ordinary wall socket on long cable runs cannot do.
Balanced Power Conditioner
A single, very large toroidal transformer gives your system a balanced, galvanically isolated supply that delivers the current surges of powerful amplifiers without voltage dips, and removes mains noise almost entirely.
Developed on 90 years of engineering tradition since 1935, for true connoisseurs of high-end audio and home cinema.
The AUDES ST-3000DC improves sound reproduction with any AV equipment, solid-state and tube alike. The most significant results come with power amplifiers.
In highly dynamic passages (a full orchestra at tutti fortissimo, large ethnic drums, the bass of experimental electronic music, cinematic sound effects) a powerful amplifier must draw current surges of 50–100 A while holding its voltage steady. An ordinary wall socket, connected to the distribution board by long cables, has too high an output impedance to supply that.
The ST-3000DC has an output DC resistance of just 0.4 Ω, so it supplies high current surges without voltage dips. The secret is a transformer with a very large core and very low magnetic flux density. Your amplifier responds faster to the changing signal, transients improve, especially in the low frequencies, and the system gains dynamic range: instruments and cinematic effects sound more real.

Switches and motor controllers, dimmers, ordinary lighting and the switch-mode power supplies of modern AV equipment all pollute the mains. The ST-3000DC isolates your system from that network and cancels what arrives, while its large core stands ready for every peak your amplifiers demand.
A single, very large toroidal transformer designed by Audes.
A very large core with very low magnetic flux density lets the ST-3000DC supply amplifier current surges of 50–100 A without voltage dips, something an ordinary wall socket on long cable runs cannot do.
The transformer is designed to act as a low-pass filter with a cut-off at 800 Hz, since mains interference occurs at much higher frequencies. The self-inductance of the large core adds further filtering: its magnetic flux cannot change instantly under a transient disturbance.
High-quality CEE 7/3 sockets are galvanically isolated from the external network, and the transformer carries a reliable electrostatic shield. Its secondary winding is split into two halves around an artificial centre tap connected to the earth clips of each socket, so arriving interference cancels itself out.
The ST-3000DC comes with an integrated DC blocker that keeps DC offset on the mains away from the transformer.
At first switch-on the transformer draws an inrush current of about 20 A as its core magnetises. A special ballast resistor limits this surge, so other equipment on the same electrical network remains unaffected.
Overload protection guards the unit, and thermal protection switches the transformer off at 90 °C, reconnecting it automatically once it has cooled to 75 °C.
Supplies the current surges of powerful amplifiers without voltage dips, for faster amplifier response and better low-frequency transients.
Mains interference sits well above the transformer's 800 Hz cut-off, and the large core's self-inductance resists transient disturbances.
An electrostatic shield and a split secondary winding with an earthed centre tap cancel interference by mutual cancellation.
The transformer is designed to maximise the number of turns in the primary winding, so with no load connected it draws only 16 W.
Produces virtually no acoustic noise, for High-End audio systems, home cinemas and showrooms, and for sound recording studios.
European quality with control at every stage of production, from transformer design to final assembly and testing.
Operating environment: below 10 °C, additional heating is required to prevent condensation; above 35 °C, additional external cooling is required.

Placement note: keep the ST-3000DC in a space with an ambient temperature of 10–35 °C.
Clean power is not only about extraordinary sound; it transforms the picture too. Free of interference and supply instability, your projector or display reveals its full potential, while cinematic effects gain real dynamic impact.
The ST-3000DC is built around a large Audes toroidal isolation transformer, not transformerless filtering. Its 3000 V∙A core gives every outlet a balanced supply that is galvanically isolated from the mains.
See how the two approaches differ, an honest side-by-side comparison, and why Audes chose the transformer.
For further performance improvement, we recommend combining the ST-3000DC with the specially designed Audes power cable for its 16 A inlet.
Every ST-3000DC ships with a standard power cable in the package; the Audes cable is sold separately.

Audes power cables were created for listeners who refuse compromise. Hand-assembled with obsessive care, each cable embodies a singular mission: to dissolve the boundary between playback and performance, placing you directly inside the recording space.
When paired with the ST-3000DC power conditioner, a profound synergy takes hold. The ST-3000DC’s massive toroidal core provides the pure, balanced foundation; the Audes C19 cable carries that current into the conditioner with minimal loss. Together, they act not as two separate links, but as one harmonious ecosystem.
At the cable’s core lies continuous-cast, monocrystalline copper arranged in a proprietary geometry that rejects electromagnetic interference and mechanical micro-vibrations. Precision-machined contact pins and custom-damped dielectric shielding let the ST-3000DC draw dynamic surges effortlessly, keeping noise floors at dead silence.
Refined through exhaustive listening trials, this partnership renders the entire power delivery virtually invisible. What remains is only the unadulterated truth of the performance: deeper blacks, explosive dynamic contrasts, and effortless musicality.
It isn’t merely power delivery. It is pure current elevated to an art form.
Every ST-3000DC is engineered and hand-built in Estonia around a transformer designed by Audes, the same in-house expertise behind nine decades of Audes audio.
